Cordless or corded, wall-climbing or floor-only: these are the pool robots we list, ranked, with the verdict and the main trade-off for each one.
Our pick order is not a lab test. Our category top pick (if it qualifies) goes first; the rest are ordered by the combined readiness and value scores on their RobotWise listings. Prices are shown exactly as last checked, and a pick without a checked price says so.

Maytronics · $1,199.00 (official price observed July 2026)
Verdict: A credible cordless option from an established pool-robot company. The premium buys broader coverage and filtration, but the battery remains a long-term ownership item.

Best for: Pools up to 50 ft, Steps and sun ledges, Waterline cleaning, Cordless convenience

Corded robots like the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus Wi-Fi run off the power supply, so you never charge a battery, but the cable can tangle. Cordless models like the Aiper Scuba S1 or Beatbot AquaSense 2 have no cable, but their runtime and battery life matter more over time.
Many do. Several of our picks list wall and waterline cleaning, such as the Aiper Scuba S1 Pro. The Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus does not skim the surface, so check each listing for floor, wall, waterline and surface coverage.
Not one with a price we've checked. None of the pool robots we list has a checked price under $500, so we don't publish a sub-$500 list. Where a pick shows no price, check the current price on Amazon.
